F.A.Q (question les plus fréquement posées)

  • How do the points work?
  • What is the certificate of authenticity?

For the works eligible for the certificate, this document certifies, on the basis of the elements which were given to us with the object, as well as after a scrupulous study of the work, that this one is indeed original and authentic, i.e. having been carried out in-situ.

This certificate includes the following elements
    -A photo of the work
    - Its dimensions
    - Its weight
    - The material of the object
    - Its description and its name
    - The presumed age of the work, being understood that it is a presumption based on our expertise and on the elements which were given to us, such as for example: its date of purchase its traceability, etc.... It is in no way a certified age, as this can only be issued by a laboratory.
    - The provenance of the work.
This document is signed by Patrick Malisse, expert in African art and director of the gallery, and by Christine Margraff, Administrator of Essentiel Galerie.
